Meat Eating Critical Evolutionary Process for Humans

Disclaimer: Vegetarians will have to close their eyes and block their ears to avoid the following research findings: eating meat helped our brains grow larger and this dietary change, around 2.5 million years ago, helped us become the thinking creatures we are today.

There are less calories in raw food so more of it was required. According to anthropologist Leslie Aiello, calories ingested were spent on digesting food and not on developing brain power.
